Staying Safe on Comilmart: Avoiding Scams and Fraud

Most trade on Comilmart goes smoothly, but online marketplaces attract fraudsters everywhere. These habits protect you whether you buy or sell.

Keep payment and conversation on the platform

• Pay through Comilmart checkout. Payments made through the platform are held until delivery is confirmed, which is what Buyer Protection relies on.
• Be wary of anyone who asks you to pay by bank transfer to a personal account, or to move the chat to another app before any order is placed.
• Sellers must not contact buyers outside official Comilmart channels except where the policy permits.

Check who you are dealing with

• Look for verified supplier badges and read the company profile and reviews. See Leaving and Reading Reviews.
• Order a sample before a large order.
• If a price is far below every other listing, ask why before you pay.

Protect your account

• Turn on two-factor authentication.
• Never share your password or one-time codes with anyone, including people who claim to be Comilmart staff.
• Comilmart sends you a security notification when your account is logged in. If you did not log in, change your password straight away.

Report anything suspicious
