Cash on Delivery: How It Works

Cash on delivery (COD) lets you pay when the goods arrive instead of paying online at checkout. It is offered on eligible retail orders.

How it works

1. Choose Cash on Delivery on the checkout page, if it is shown for your order.
2. The seller prepares and delivers the order.
3. You inspect the goods and hand over the payment when you receive them.
4. The delivery and the cash handover are confirmed in your order, so both you and the seller have a record.

Things to know

• COD is not available when a gift card is applied to the order, because the cash collected at the door cannot reflect a discount made on the platform.
• Keep the exact amount ready where possible.
• Do not hand over cash before you have checked that the item matches your order.
• If something is wrong, do not accept the goods, and tell the seller and support through the order chat.
