Motorcycle Prices in Nigeria (2026): Okada Bikes New and Used
Comilmart Team
October 21, 2026
Motorcycle prices in Nigeria depend on the brand, the engine size, and whether the bike is new or fairly used. A fairly used Honda can cost under β¦150,000 while a new 200cc bike can pass β¦350,000, and the figures in older articles may be far from today's market. This guide collects the dated ranges we read in October 2026 for Bajaj, Honda, Qlink and Jincheng, shows how new and used prices compare, covers what to check for a commercial okada bike, and explains what the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) registration portal asks for.
These are listed prices from publishers, not quotes. Prices move with the naira rate, import costs and location, so confirm with the dealer and ask for a written price.
New motorcycle prices in Nigeria
A Nigerian Queries price page dated 9 August 2026 (titled April 2026) listed these new motorcycle ranges:
| Brand and model | New price listed |
|---|---|
| Bajaj Discover 125F | β¦170,000 to β¦200,000 |
| Bajaj V15 | β¦200,000 to β¦230,000 |
| Bajaj Pulsar AS150 | β¦320,000 to β¦350,000 |
| Jincheng JC series | β¦250,000 to β¦350,000 |
| Honda CG series | β¦250,000 to β¦350,000 |
| Qlink Champion 200A | β¦320,000 to β¦350,000 |
| Qlink Ranger | β¦370,000 to β¦400,000 |
The same page said cheaper bikes often differ in quality, and advised choosing a bike you can afford and control comfortably. That is a fair point: the lowest price is not always the lowest cost once fuel and repairs are counted.
Honda motorcycle prices in Nigeria
Honda has its own price page on the same site, published 28 August 2026. It listed new Honda ACE 110 at β¦210,000 to β¦290,000, Honda Dio series at β¦220,000 to β¦270,000, Honda CG series at β¦270,000 to β¦390,000 and Honda CB125TD at β¦370,000 to β¦500,000. The page said prices fluctuate with customs fees and government policy and vary by location and supplier. Note how this CG range (β¦270,000 to β¦390,000) overlaps but is not identical to the CG range on the first page (β¦250,000 to β¦350,000). Two pages from the same publisher a few weeks apart show why you should collect quotes yourself.
Fairly used motorcycle prices
Fairly used bikes are the entry route for many commercial riders. The August 2026 Nigerian Queries listings showed:
- Bajaj Discover 125F: β¦100,000 to β¦150,000
- Bajaj V15: β¦100,000 to β¦150,000
- Bajaj Pulsar NS160: β¦150,000 to β¦180,000
- Honda Dio: β¦80,000 to β¦120,000 on the first page, β¦90,000 to β¦130,000 on the Honda page
- Honda CG series: β¦90,000 to β¦150,000 on the first page, β¦100,000 to β¦170,000 on the Honda page
The page noted that a fairly used bike in good physical and mechanical condition can offer efficiency close to a new one, although it may be less smooth. For a used bike, take a mechanic with you, test ride it, and check the engine and chassis numbers against the papers.
Why older motorcycle price lists look so different
Be careful with old figures. A Kashgain article with prices as of February 2025 listed the Bajaj Boxer 100cc at β¦380,000 to β¦450,000, the TVS HLX Plus at β¦400,000 to β¦500,000, the Honda CG125 at β¦350,000 to β¦450,000 and the Qlink Ranger 200cc at β¦700,000 to β¦900,000. The August 2026 pages above show a Qlink Ranger at β¦370,000 to β¦400,000 and Honda CG at β¦250,000 to β¦390,000. We cannot tell why they differ so much: the models may not match, the sources may measure different things, or the market may have moved. We did not find a current sourced price for TVS models, so we do not quote one for 2026. The lesson is to trust only a price that is dated, names the exact model and comes from a dealer you can visit.
Read the Kashgain article for its buying checklist too: match the bike to its use, budget for fuel, maintenance, insurance and repairs, verify ownership and clearance documents, inspect and test ride.
Commercial okada bikes: what to check
If you buy a bike for commercial use, think about total cost, not the purchase price alone:
- Fuel economy. The Nigerian Queries page advises checking how much fuel a specific model uses so running costs stay manageable.
- Spare parts. Choose models whose parts are readily available locally. Kashgain warns that some brands have limited replacement parts, which can raise maintenance costs.
- Paperwork. Ask for proof of ownership and customs or import clearance papers on any used bike.
- Local rules. Check current rules in your state before buying a bike for commercial use.
Registering a motorcycle with the FRSC
The FRSC runs an online vehicle registration portal. Its vehicle registration form lists "Motor cycle" as a vehicle type, with Bajaj, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Lifan among the makes. It asks for owner identification (options include a company RC number, driver's licence, international passport, national ID card or Tax Identification Number), a policy number, and vehicle details such as engine number and chassis number. Categories are commercial, government or private. We read the form, not a full guide, so confirm the documents and fees with the FRSC before you pay anyone. Our guide to the Tax Identification Number explains one of the identifiers.
Where to compare motorcycle prices and parts
If you resell motorcycles, run a fleet or sell spare parts, bulk sourcing matters. Browse listings at /browse and post your model, quantity and delivery location at /request-quotation. Suppliers abroad can read our guide to exporting motorcycles from China to Africa and auto parts to Africa, and importers can use the landed cost guide to see what to add to the factory price. See the price guide for more categories. Suppliers arrange and pay for shipping and delivery on B2B orders; Comilmart does not handle freight, customs clearance or delivery. Buyer protection holds payment until delivery is confirmed, with a 7-day window.
