TV Prices in Kenya 2026: 32, 43, 55 Inch Smart TVs (Hisense, Samsung, TCL, LG)

The TV price in Kenya has two very different layers: unbranded or lesser-known smart TVs that start under KSh 12,000, and name brands such as Hisense, TCL, Samsung and LG that cost two to five times as much for the same screen size. This guide compares 32, 43 and 55 inch smart TVs using Kenyan retailer pages and classified listings from 2026, explains what the extra money buys, and gives a checklist for choosing between LED, QLED and 4K models.

TV prices in Kenya by screen size

A June 2026 guide from Value Hub Kenya put 32 inch Hisense VIDAA TVs at KSh 23,000 to KSh 31,000, a Samsung FHD 43 inch at about KSh 31,000 on offer, a Hisense A6 4K 43 inch at about KSh 40,000 and the 55 inch A6 at about KSh 58,000. Online retailer Overtech Kenya, whose pages in 2026 showed 384 TV listings, priced many unbranded 32 inch sets at KSh 9,899 to KSh 12,999. The gap between those two sources is real: it is mostly the difference between a global brand with warranty and service, and lesser-known brands competing on price alone.

32 inch smart TV price in Kenya

At 32 inches you mostly get HD resolution, and the question is whether you need smart features at all.

  • Budget: Overtech listed a Vitron 32 inch digital TV at KSh 9,899, an Amtec 32 inch digital TV at KSh 9,999, an Ailyons 32 inch smart Android TV at KSh 11,999 and a GLD 32 inch smart Android TV at KSh 12,999.
  • Named brands: A Kenyan TCL price list updated in January 2026 showed the TCL 32D2900 at KSh 19,999, the 32D2910S smart Full HD at KSh 22,999 and the 32D2910 at KSh 23,900. Overtech listed a TCL 32S5K QLED Google TV at KSh 20,499 (out of stock when we checked).

43 inch TV price in Kenya

This is the sweet spot for bedsitters, bedrooms and small living rooms. On Overtech, a Tornado 43 inch smart Android TV was KSh 17,999, a GLD 43 inch was KSh 18,999 and a Vitron 43 inch QLED smart TV was KSh 19,499. Moving to well-known brands: a TCL 43S5K QLED Google TV was KSh 27,499, a TCL 43V6C 4K UHD smart TV was KSh 29,999 and a Hisense 43 inch 4K UHD (43A6QKEN) was KSh 30,499. Kenyatronics listed a Hisense 43A4Q FHD VIDAA TV at KSh 24,900 and an LG 43LM6370 FHD webOS TV at KSh 34,000.

55 inch TV price in Kenya

At 55 inches, 4K is standard and prices spread widely. Overtech listed an Amtec 55 inch smart TV at KSh 32,599, a TCL 55V6C 4K at KSh 41,999, a Skyworth 55Q6500G QLED at KSh 44,499, a TCL 55T6C QLED at KSh 49,999 and a TCL 55P8L premium QLED labelled 2026 at KSh 56,999. Kenyatronics listed a Hisense 55U6KKEN ULED 4K at KSh 57,000, down from KSh 64,500. A Nairobi CBD seller on Pigiame listed a Samsung 55 inch Crystal UHD 55U8000 at KSh 71,999 as new, and Value Hub Kenya's June 2026 guide put the Samsung Crystal UHD CU8000 at about KSh 75,000 and an LG 4K webOS 55 inch at about KSh 73,000.

Hisense, TCL, Samsung and LG: how they compare

  • Hisense: Often the value pick for 4K at 43 and 55 inches. Its 32 inch and 43A4Q listings run the VIDAA smart platform, and the A6 and U-series sit higher up the range.
  • TCL: Several models, such as the 32S5K and V6 series, run Google TV, with QLED options below KSh 50,000 at 55 inches on the listings we saw.
  • Samsung: Priced higher at 55 inches in the listings we saw.
  • LG: webOS smart TVs, with larger sizes such as a 65 inch 4K at about KSh 98,000 according to Value Hub Kenya.

Consider the warranty and service route. A cheaper TV from a brand with no service centre in your town is risky if the panel fails.

Smart TV, QLED, ULED and 4K: what the labels mean

Full HD (1080p) is fine at 32 and 43 inches. At 55 inches and above, 4K UHD shows the difference. QLED and ULED are brand names for improved LCD panels that usually give better colour and brightness than a plain LED. OLED, which lights each pixel individually, is the premium option: Value Hub Kenya cited an LG OLED 65 inch from KSh 300,000. A smart TV needs Wi-Fi and an app store to be useful, so factor in your internet. Operating systems differ (Google TV, VIDAA, webOS, Android), and some have more apps than others, so check that Netflix and YouTube work if you use them.

Digital TV and decoders

Some listings separate "digital" sets from "smart" ones, such as Overtech's Vitron and Amtec 32 inch digital TVs. We did not verify the current free-to-air or digital signal setup for Kenya, so ask the seller whether the TV has a built-in digital tuner and what you need to watch your usual channels, and test it before leaving the shop.

Buying checklist

  • Pick the size by distance: 32 inch for a small room or kitchen, 43 inch for a bedroom, 55 inch for a living room.
  • Check the model number against the brand's official site, not just the shop's title.
  • Inspect the panel for dead pixels and run a video before paying.
  • Get a written warranty with a date and keep the receipt.
  • Ask whether delivery and wall-mounting are included.
