Responding to Quote Requests and Offers
Your dashboard Inbox is where every buyer inquiry lands — here's how to work through it effectively.
The three tabs
- My Categories — quote requests matching the categories you've declared as a supplier
- RFQ Board — every open request across all categories on Comilmart, filterable by category, in case you want to find opportunities outside your usual product lines
- Offers — direct price offers buyers have made on your specific listings
Responding to a quote request
Click into any request to see the buyer's requirements, then submit your quotation: your price per unit, a message covering things like lead time and MOQ, and optionally the total shipment weight (used to calculate shipping if they accept).
Responding to an offer
For direct offers, you have three options: Accept their price outright, Counter with your own price and a note, or Decline. If you counter, the buyer can then accept your counter-price, which unlocks checkout on their end.
Your monthly quote allowance
Depending on your subscription plan, you have a monthly limit on quotes — and this is shared between RFQ quotations and offer responses, since both draw on the same "supplier attention" resource. Check your usage on the Subscription page, and upgrade your plan if you're consistently running out before the month ends.
Why responding quickly matters
Your response rate and average response time are calculated from real data and shown to buyers on your company profile. Fast, consistent responses are one of the clearest trust signals a new buyer can see before deciding to work with you.
