❓ FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a different account for buying wholesale vs. retail?
No — one buyer account works across both. Use the "Switch to Wholesale" / "Switch to Retail" toggle near the top of the site to move between the two marketplaces.
What's the difference between "Request a Quote" and "Make an Offer"?
Request a Quote is for when you know what you need but haven't found a specific listing — it goes out to multiple suppliers for competing quotes. Make an Offer is for negotiating the price on a specific listing you've already found, directly with that one supplier.
How do I know if a supplier is trustworthy?
Look for a "Verified" badge (meaning they've passed our Know Your Supplier review), check their performance stats (response rate, on-time dispatch rate, store rating) on their company profile, and consider ordering a sample first if it's available on the listing.
How long does payment stay held before a seller gets paid?
Payment releases to the seller a set number of days after your order is marked delivered, giving you a window to report a problem if something's genuinely wrong. See our Buyer Protection guide for the full mechanics.
Can more than one person from my company use our seller account?
Yes — the account owner can invite team members with Admin or Member roles from the Team page in the dashboard. See our team management guide.
What happens if I hit my monthly quote limit as a supplier?
You won't be able to submit new RFQ quotations or respond to buyer offers until the next month, or until you upgrade your subscription plan. Check your usage anytime on the Subscription page.
Is Comilmart a lender for trade financing?
No. Comilmart reviews financing applications and forwards qualifying ones to a partner financial institution, but the institution makes the final decision — Comilmart passing an application forward doesn't guarantee funding. See our Trade Financing page for the full process.
