October 8, 2026

The TV price in Nigeria in October 2026 ranges from under ₦150,000 for a basic 32-inch set to well over ₦1,000,000 for large 65-inch and bigger models, and the label on the box (smart, Android, QLED, 4K) often matters more than the brand. This guide uses retailer listings we checked in October 2026 to show naira prices for 32, 43, 50, 55 and 65-inch TVs from Hisense, TCL, LG and Samsung, explains smart versus Android TV and LED versus QLED, and covers sizing for your room and wall brackets. Prices move with the exchange rate and stock, so use them as a snapshot.

32-inch TV price in Nigeria

The 32-inch size suits bedrooms, small shops and kitchens. A Hisense 32A2Q, which the listing does not describe as smart, was ₦156,000, and a Mora 32-inch was ₦144,000 (out of stock when we checked). Smart versions cost more: a TCL 32-inch Android TV at ₦230,000, a Samsung 32-inch at ₦250,000 and a Hisense 32A4S at ₦252,000. If you only plan to plug in a decoder, a non-smart set saves money; if you want YouTube and streaming apps, pay for a smart model.

43-inch TV price in Nigeria

The 43-inch size has the most choice, and the price spread is wide. Entry-level 43-inch sets began around ₦184,000 (Mora) and ₦282,000 (Hisense 43A5200 and Itel). Smart and Android versions included a Kenstar Android at ₦276,000, a Royal Android at ₦324,000, a Skyrun smart TV at ₦340,000, a Hisense 43A4S at ₦342,000 and a TCL 43S5400A Android TV at ₦372,000. Name-brand 4K models were higher: an LG 43UA73006LA (4K) at ₦409,000, an LG 43LR6000 at ₦386,000 and a Samsung 43F6000F at ₦456,000. A Mora 43-inch listing carried a one-year warranty.

50-inch and 55-inch TV prices

Moving up to 50 inches, listings included an Itel at ₦384,000, a Hisense 50A4Q at ₦454,000, a Hisense 50Q5S at about ₦465,750, a Polystar at ₦480,000, a Hisense 50Q6Q at ₦501,000 and an LG 50UA73006LA with webOS at ₦513,000. At 55 inches, a Hisense 55A6Q was ₦558,000, an LG 55UA73006LA (webOS) was ₦608,000, an LG 55QNED was ₦747,000, a Hisense 55U6N was ₦770,000 and a Hisense 55U7K was ₦827,000.

65-inch TV price and bigger

For a large living room, 65-inch listings ranged from a Hisense 65A6Q at ₦745,000 and an LG 65UA73006LA at ₦862,000, to a Hisense 65Q6Q at ₦863,000, a TCL 65P635 (Google TV) at ₦870,000, a Samsung 65UA8000F at ₦970,000, a Hisense 65U6Q at about ₦1,006,250 and a Hisense 65U8Q at ₦1,656,000. A premium Samsung 65-inch QN800D was ₦5,850,000. Screens of 75 inches and up begin around ₦1,000,000 and rise very quickly.

Smart TV vs Android TV: which should you buy?

Every "smart" TV has an operating system, and the system decides which apps you can install and how fast it runs. In the listings we saw: TCL and several local brands use Android or Google TV, LG uses webOS, Samsung uses Tizen, and brands like Mora, MI, Polystar and Century use VIDAA. One Nigerian buying guide (February 2026) recommends Android or Google TV for the widest app selection and rates LG webOS and Samsung Tizen as fast, and warns against generic smart systems with only a few apps. Before you buy, ask which apps (YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Showmax) are available on that exact model, and whether it has built-in Wi-Fi and enough HDMI and USB ports for your decoder and sound bar.

LED vs QLED vs 4K: what the labels mean

"LED" on most TVs describes the backlight of an LCD screen, so it is the basic standard. "4K" or "UHD" is about resolution (more pixels), which matters most on 50 inches and above. "QLED" (and brand variations such as Hisense's Q-series and ULED, or LG's QNED) adds a layer for richer colour and brightness. In practice, the QLED-labelled sets we saw cost more than plain LED sets of the same size: a Hisense 50Q6Q at ₦501,000 versus a 50A4Q at ₦454,000, for example. A 4K QLED helps most in a bright room or for movies and sport; a plain Full HD LED is fine for news and a small room.

What TV size for your room?

As a rough guide, 32 inches suits a bedroom or small shop, 43 inches suits a medium living room, 50 to 55 inches suits a larger lounge, and 65 inches and above is for big halls or sitting far from the screen. Measure the wall and the distance to your sofa before you buy, and confirm that the TV fits through the doorway and into your TV unit.

Wall brackets, stands and power protection

Do not forget accessories in your budget. A Nigerian retailer listed a TV wall bracket for 50 to 85-inch screens at ₦23,000, a mobile TV stand for sets up to 65 inches at ₦105,600, and a TV and DVD surge guard at ₦6,900. A bracket is a good idea in a home with children, but make sure the wall can carry the weight, and check the bracket's VESA size matches the TV. Power cuts and surges damage TVs, so use a surge protector. TVs are not heavy power users: a Mora 43-inch listing gives its consumption as 90W. If you run it from a small backup system, see our solar panel and inverter price guide and generator guide.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of a 43-inch TV in Nigeria? In October 2026 we saw 43-inch TVs from about ₦184,000 to ₦456,000 on one retailer site, depending on brand and whether it was smart or 4K.

Which TV brand is best in Nigeria? Hisense, TCL, LG and Samsung are all widely sold. Compare the exact model, operating system, warranty and after-sales support rather than the brand alone.

Is a smart TV worth it? If you stream online, yes. Check the OS and app support first. A non-smart TV can be enough if you only use a decoder.
